Meet Dr. Kony
Dr. Kony tells her story like someone who grew up in a clinic, not like a CV. Both of her parents are doctors. As a child she played at her father’s clinic and watched people arrive, then leave with a smile. That picture made her happy. It was her first impression of the work.
She calls it a childhood dream: a job that helps someone else, and that can hand them a smile. Once she was in medical school she studied the subject she actually cared about, skin and aesthetics. After that she kept building experience and refining her own technique.
When she was ready for a clinic of her own, she wrote that she wanted people to look well and feel healthy, with quality-assured products, in appropriate amounts, and careful consideration at every step, using her own technique fully. That is how The Cocktail Clinic opened. A change is different for every person, and nothing here is a promise of a particular result.
How Dr. Kony works
The line she uses is “Beauty is like a signature cocktail. We customise your own flavour.” A good cocktail is not the house pour for every table. Sweet or sharp, the mix belongs to that glass.
A face, in her telling, works the same way. Choose the right method. Not too much, not too little. It does not have to look like anyone else. It can be your own signature. If the conversation says nothing more is needed yet, she does not rush to add it. That is what “not too much” means.
Explanation sits beside the procedure. Customer care is something she puts first, and she wants a clear answer before anyone decides. On filler she has written that every brand has different strengths, and that each brand comes in several firmnesses for different areas. Choosing by the name on the box is a poor way to do it. She asks the doctor to pick the product they know, have used, and can match to that person’s concern.
- Explain the plan, then decide.
- Match the method and the product to the person. No set recipe.
- Not too much, not too little. If it is not the moment, say so.
- Results vary from person to person. Nothing here is a guarantee.
